Amit Majumder is a left-handed opening batsman who bowls legspin and idolizes Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh. He took up cricket in 2000 and was part of the Bangladesh squads for the Under-19 World Cup in 2008 and 2010. He was in good form in 2009, smashing centuries against Zimbabwe U-19 and Sri Lanka U-19.
